Ah, thats a bit of a surprise though given what acid/corrosion can do , not a bad a choice though i would find the moveset a bit awkward on a fast moving target like him. I killed him with the tyrant murderer.
Thats what im mean with trash design. The combat itself is kinda sluggish and basic and then you have cheap stuff like this.
Thats why i only dodged. And bum rushed him with lots of stabs every chance i got. He went down fast to it but it is a weapon that it is ill advised to block with due to having very low block reduction. So i simply said screw that and rushed him, dodging every time he moved then stabbed him in the kidney. Again and again.
I was completely out of the throwables that i had brought during the first phase. So it was just a one on one, weapon to weapon.
The combat is not that sluggish really. OR basic, i don't get how you can call it that. There is a lot of mechanics at work, plenty of items, and you can definitely move fast the lighter you get. I-frames still exist. And you have to react fast, which is the opposite of being sluggish.
Did you grab the double dodge or no?
I mean hell, i use a lot slower weapon now and do just fine dodging. Though i need to get used to blocking more since i have over 70 guard damage reduction.
Also he just spams it with that huge health bar. I can bareley avoid it once and he keeps spamming it.
This is cheap beyong believe.
Well, first of all, you can equip your best defensive parts that mitigate fire damage. I think they are called converters or radiators.
It was already mentioned that if you have enough stamina, you can run away from Romeo in his fire phase for most of the time. This might require some investment into Vigor/Stamina otherwise you will run out and he will catch up. You will eventually dodge or guard his last few attacks (3 or 4). Guarding is fine but you need to have some stamina but dodging into his attack works very well.
You can also start focusing on perfect guarding his lunges from far followed by a spin, which give you good timing for a perfect guard. You can play defensively and break his weapon early, which makes the fight significantly easier. His Fury attacks still hurt even with broken weapon though.
Lastly, your entitlement sense is through the roof if you believe that a statement "Let them fix X then I will be back" is a valid argument. Obviously, they do not care if you are back or not and since your feedback sounds like a whining of a spoiled brat, no one would pay any attention to it.
Ill link one i saw that might be useful and i one i found funny asf tbh.

Ah here we go, this shows directly how to deal with that flame run. Go past the 2 minute mark.

Hope this one helps.
KoP's flame combo goes in a straight line. You can outrun it, you can dodge it no problem.
Waterfowl Dance is an AoE multi-hit capable of reaching no matter how far you are from Malenia, it's pretty non-intuitive to dodge and dodging it point-blank is extremely difficult.
There can be no comparison.
I just hate that combo. It feels cheap. But like i said before. Getting there is so tedious every time.
Well i give ya 3 videos to look at, have a ball lol And i am kinda ashamed to admit, that lady is better than i am at the game lol
From what i can tell she did it for fun and pretty much just because. Curiosity. And being silly. The fact she still took the boss out while just goofing around tells volumes lol
To be honest, all weapons should be viable. Not saying they all should have the exact strength or damage, but they should all be viable to beat the game with.
When he does his spinny ballerina move, parry the ground pound, light attack, parry the next ground pound, light attack or heavy. For all the swipes just dodge into him and deal damage, if its the double swipe, parry and then dodge.
Just like all puppets in the game, he is weak to blitz, so consider using the Electric Coil or Throwing Cells.
For Romeo you have to lean in more on your playstyle, for me it was parrying so I'd parry his barrage and follow the last parry with the Payback Swing fable art from the Big Pipe Handle, easy fat damage.
If you're more into dodging, then just dodge into him when the time is right.
