Truth vs Lie
Tough to tell which is which on some of these. Even the guides out there have some of the answers labeled wrong.

Like the one with Simon after the Victor fight. The question is asking for your opinion, and since your character is basically a voiceless blank shell, there's no way to intuit the truth. I even looked up an IGN guide for that one and they got it wrong.

Another one I messed up Polendina when he asks about puppets loving humans. The options are to show him a wedding ring or answer while omitting that detail. I logically concluded omission was lying, but ended up failing that check to.

I'm working towards the Golden Lie for an achievement, which requires very high humanity. Hopefully I don't botch too many more of these.

that's because the whole "truth vs lie" thing is just a big smokescreen. what the devs actually want from you is to act like a human. which, according to their logic, means either lying (sometimes for no apparent reason) or otherwise responding to situations emotionally. it's a really dumb system that undermines an otherwise interesting narrative premise.

I see it less as lie vs truth, but more as giving the more human answer.

Really? I think this one is real easy if you've been paying attention to what others were saying about Simon.

"Monsters" would be the objective truth, even Simon himself somewhat admits it. But since he sees the Petrification Disease as a way for humanity to evolve, he will comment on your inability to see the greater picture. So you lie and basically say that the Petrification Disease is great, even if you don't actually think so.

Most of the exposition about what Simon is doing happens near the end of the game. After the Victor fight most of the characters still aren't sure what the Alchemists are up to.

Beyond that, "objective truth" is irrelevant if the question is asking for your character's opinion. It's definitely very unclear what the devs are going for with some of these. Since it's a Korean developer maybe there's a language issue here.
