you're overthinking it. the devs are from Korea, so they put a Korean in the game. it's like a little calling card.

She just seems weird because the devs are Korean so they think logically "How would a Korean woman show up in old Europe? We need to give her a backstory to justify that." whereas a western dev would just assume Koreans and Indonesians and Namibians are naturally Italian and French no explanation needed. It is a weird detail only because western writers just ignore it and you have more experience with that.
