Is there any reason to use Last Resort?

I mean as opposed to the Pocket Watch. They seem to do the same thing except Last resort also causes you to drop your Ergo.

Anyone know?

good question. No idea. I assumed it was a thing where if you got stuck like bugged against a wall or something? But then you could just use the watch. I dno lol

It's like the Dark sign, which I've never used. Why lose all your souls when you can just teleport back to the bonfire? Nonsensical item.

Not something I ever bother with either haha. Compared to the Pocket Watch it's just a couple seconds faster due to the different animation.

Press it once and there's a warning message. Press again and you die instantly, and return to last Stargazer. Your Ergo will be available for retrieval as usual.

I think it's more of a story thing. You don't start the game with the watch, sophia has to give it to you, showing the significance of her power being able to literally rewind time for you. Granted, she still does the same thing when you die, you just don't keep the ergo, but I think thats the reason both exist. Last resort is designed to be quickly made obsolete.

Yeah, that was my best guess too. It's so you have something to teleport you back during the brief period before you get the Pocket Watch.

You can use it to fill up your fable bars for free if you have the P-organ skill, other then that useless.
