I also really like the plain punching arm. I wish you could lvl it >___<
Comes with a totally unintentional pun. Whoops.
A combo of level 3 puppet string, then a 3 block fable art into fatal attack is enough to outright kill higher HP enemies or bring some bosses down to half health.
Falcon's Eye doesn't oneshot common enemies you need it for.
Fulminis and Cerberus takes too damn long to ramp up damage, Pandemonium is even worse. And Aegis just failed to impress me.
Deus Ex Machina should've been a pile bunker honestly, looking like that it has no business being minelayer in a game like this ...
They tried to offset how broken it seems by having the legion cost be extremely high, but if you have 2 of the "increase legion after killing an enemy" P-Organ upgrades and auto charge legion, you can use it quite often. I straight up bullied the Watcher of Illusion boss with the trident weapon and level 3 puppet string.
At first playthrough, I thought Aegis would be great,
but once I master Perfect Guard, Aegis became useless
I'm using BlackSteel Cutter & Carcass Crystal Axe in NG++
so I am using Fulminis Arm (Thunder one)
Yup. Puppet Strings or bust
Flamberge is great against carcasses. Fulminis is great against puppets. Puppet string is good against everything. Level 3, at least.
Puppet String is sorta meh until you fully upgrade it, then the link attack lets you flatten most things low diff.
The other arms seem useful in certain situations versus certain enemies, but in general I just run around with the Falcon Eye. Being able to consistently take out enemies at range is too much of a boon to ignore.
