I love this game so much and can't wait for more. Good luck, Pocketpair!
CHANGE IT BACK!
Oh boy, if Nintindoof tried to go after 'Pair for having a reticle up all the time, Microsh@t and Mojant will have quite the word with them.
I mean they would have to sue first and I don't see them going after each other because they have money and there would be no point. I don't honestly know how much nintendoof(nice) believes in the patents, and from what little I know and conversations had the seem way to vague and unreasonable, I think they are just betting on being able to use the legal system costs harass/bleed out pocketpair as a possible real competitor rather than seeking actual recourse(or making better games).
The veracity or substance of the claims does not actually matter to nintendoof in my opinion. It's the "temerity" of another company to be successful, to do better in what the nintendorks see, I believe unjustly so, as "their" exclusive domain/territory.
It also serves as a deterrent for anyone who wants to be 'inspired' by anything they do since you know they will sue you if looked at twice
