The luxes made it possible to get 3k+ oil every 8 hours.
You'll want to breed for as many work speed passives as possible: Remarkable Craftsmanship > Artisan > Work Slave > Serious > Lucky > Conceited.
Use Souls to further increase speed up to 60%.
Max out essence extraction to increase all work skills by 1 level.
Research generation speed, capacity, and energy consumption reduction.
Make a Pylon (also locked behind research).
All of this 1 Orserk should be able to keep up to 6 oil extractors powered solo easily.
If you can find them, electric generation skill books would also be useful.
Also be sure you got all your electric researches done
The souls that Drake recommended is a big improvement I don't recommend sleeping on. If you need souls you should spam dungeons. By your point, your dungeons should be taking 4 minutes x 3~4 (bases) = lotsa souls, small ~ large. This also helps your research, improving electricity further. Highly recommend pursuing this for a myriad of reasons.
If dungeons are taking more than 4 minutes, fuse all your useless pals together and use them for expeditions if you haven't been doing this already. imo, useful kept pals are either blank M/F for breeding or remarkable passives like... craftsmanship.

Vampire prevents them from ever needing to sleep, it's better than nocturnal. Swift helps them navigate around the base reducing their downtime. There's diminishing returns with work slave since it's adding 30% on top of an increase of 125%. It also means if you want them to double as a raid pal they cannot do so due to the massive damage penalty. Big thing with Helzephyr is that they're transporters as well as electricity, and transportation is only affected by movement speed.
