Egg Hatching at 1 (I don't want instant, but I want it fairly quick)
Resource Node HP: reduced (so they break quicker)
Resource Node drop multipler: increased (to compensate for the above setting)
Meteor Drop interval: 20 (about every 20 minutes it'll trigger)
Most other settings are about default, other than maybe a slight experimental tweak here and there.
More important changes on my playthrough are
-no drop on death - playing with this is bs, require more grinding and forces you to play to get as fast as possible things that you drop. I am an adult that need to close the game from time to time, so no chances I will waste time on death drops. Also, it is easy to fall under the textures.
-I blocked raids, as those were spawning inside my base.
-I maxed out number of bases as there are many places that I want to build base just for fun, and I turned off block decay outside bases. Now I am building mini-city from three bases next to each other.
I also maxed out Pals per base but I design bases for 15 pals - additional slots I use to sort my pals to keep it more clean. For example, first line is for pals that are only for short time in base, like for healing. Second line is for farming pals or mining pals. Third line is for additional workers like cooling, kindling or handiwork. Fourth line is for the electricity pals if I need more than one. Last line is for tranport pals.
Minor decrease of egg timers.
Pals per base up to 35.
Max number of bases = 4
Maintain the gear when dead but lose the inventory.
Nothing more was touched.
Although I'm thinking of increasing the meteor spawns and playing around with a few other settings.
Pal outgoing damage 3x
Pal received damage 0.66x
Player outgoing damage 1x
Player received damage 1x
Resource hp/yield 0.5x
Hatch time 1h
Bases 20
Base pals 15
Pal appearance rate 4.99x
The rest are hard values. Poor eikthyrdeers can't walk anywhere without creating new war zones.
Having all items drop on death isn't as bad as it sounds. With fast travel and the fact that you don't lose your pals its quick and easy to get your stuff back. This also keeps you from cheesing the game by going well over encumbered and suicide back to base.

Pal regen/(sleep) 5/5

Experience rate (anywhere from .1 to .8 depending on if i'm playing with friends or not. Gotta enjoy those tech advances and make use of them. Also makes found schematics more
valuable)
item weight 0.1
drop items on death
no structure decay outside base
pals allowed in base up to 50
randomized pals, either type.
meteorite/supply set to 30
egg time set to 1
this makes a dangerous world for pals and humans alike, tho you can recover quickly. You got a bit of a slow burn in advancement, and will get all your exp from crafting. Item weight is already really heavy, and even at .1 carrying a lot of material and returning it to base is still a bit of a struggle.
However: be aware that the new setting for Randomized Pal Spawn Locations can NOT be changed. Once activated, it is permanent in that savefile and you'll need to start a new game to deactivate it.
