Grounded shadowbeak should not trigger anti-air.
I mean like; the stealth bird with MODIFIED DNA shouldn't even activate the anti-air in the first place. Especially that it is unknown, and its a dark type pal.

And whats worse is that even while its grounded, it still activates anti air for no reason. Idk why; please tell me if this is a bug or not.

because its an aerial pal, happens with any even in Feybreak with the anti air missles. I dont agree with the shadowbeak immunity I just think its dumb UNLESS it was the partner skill. Just fly high enough and the lasers cant reach anyways. Its not as high as you would think LOL
Shadowbeak is weird anyway.

When I did my playthrough, he was so bugged between "aerial and ground mount" that I flew over water with him, he ran out of stamina and then on the water he started to take damage and stamina was not refilling...

Now use any other flying pal (tested with Nitewing, Felaris and Vanwyrm). If they run out of stamina over water, they lower down, land on the water and then recover stamina.

Shadowbeak is so weird. But ok, it has legs and wings and therefore maybe doesnt can land onto water but sinks in. But still weird xD

That's because Shadowbeak doesn't float/levitate, the same happens with Frostallion. Floating is an actual mechanic believe it or not, Pals with this property cannot drown, cannot take fall damage (only relevant to wild Pals) and won't burn when on lava.
Yeah, they target any pal that can fly. , Frostallion Noct, Quivern, shadowbeak, ect.

If flying and carrying you is a thing they can do, they are treated as flying. I think it's Pocket Pair's way to force people to slow down and actually explore.

Funnily enough the missile towers don't shoot down gliders or glider pals. Which honestly feels like either a) a bug, or b) an oversight of the devs. If flying triggers the defense mechanism of Feybreak, so should gliders.

It's a good thing

Gliding really won't help ya if you are climbing a massive mountain.

My shadowbeak has inf stamina buff.

Can I really fly above the ant air can reach?
Clearly we need a Jetragon Noct that is just a stealth bomber.
Definitely a bit annoying that it happens even when grounded, but I guess the devs have yet to learn the difference between a flying pal in a grounded state and a flying pal actually flying.
I just walk Tarantriss across the water to the rigs that can shoot me, she can float, spider swing, and double jump. The only thing she can't do is let me use my guns while riding cause apparently I have to slap her on the back of the head to spit rope at things.
When an anti air tower locks onto you as a target, even if you land, it will still lock onto you. Save shadowbeak and summon him again when you land with him. This happens with any pal capable of flying and perching to walk on land.

What's really annoying is that a tower can detect and lock onto you even if there's a mountain between you and it. It should do this when it has direct line of sight to you and only receive presence warnings from these systems until that happens.
