There is absolutely nothing interesting there to come back for at higher levels. Just a low level dungeon and a chest spawn point. Why would we ever take the time to come back to that area of the beach once we got the ability to fly or use a mount.
I think the perfect time to explore that beach is when you start. I wanted to see the area from the cut scene anyways, and I kinda thought the chest and dungeon was our reward for "back tracking" instead of heading deeper into the island.
My first base was placed on a ledge overlooking that beach. Love it. Get rid of the rocks, I understand the intention but it isn't that hard to get "unstuck" especially because like, guys, developers, you already gave us a respawn button. We can already get out of tricky situations.
