Bug: Burn When Flying Over Lava With A Hybrid Mount

Eg:- Shadowbeak, Frostallion
Basically mounts which have walking+flying burn when theyre flying high over lava, unlike pure flying mounts like Beakon, Ragnahawk.

why would that be intended, did you ask the devs

wear the ring of fire resist and the tshirt to improve heat resist with heat resist armour
I burned to death on a jetdragon so I would say all mounts unless dressed correctly and it has been that way from the start

so you flew over lava with frostallion and didnt start burning? just making sure we're on the same page

I burned to death on a jet dragon after I had tried with shadowbeak to he same end
THAN remembered there was a t shirt and stuff so put on the ring with the t shirt and now I don't die whatever I take

ok just been back on
350-347 Duneshelter you can buy the heat resist t shirt there and with that and a lvl 1 ring of resistance heatproof armour and NO pal I lived where I burned before
so hope that helps :)

Fire resist is not the same as heat resistance. Catching on fire while flying over lava is 100% a bug. And no, heat resistance stuff does not prevent this or protect against it. If you are taking damage from 'heat' AKA Hot weather, it flat out says 'hot' on your screen. Fire is a completely different thing and there is no immunity to it. You can tell if you are taking actual 'temperature' damage, as the temperature gauge will have either red, or blue 'squares'. When the temperature needle reaches one of those squares, you will begin to take heat or cold damage respectively. Level 3 hot or cold resist, which can be accomplished with a +2 undershirt of the respective resistance, provides complete immunity to heat or cold. It can also be accomplished with stacking resistances such as legendary heat or cold resist armor, which provides level 2 resistance, and a standard undershirt which provides level 1 resistance.
It appears in the game code, that temperature resistance, and elemental resistance, both cap at level 3.
Temperature resistance provides immunity at level 3.
Elemental Resistance, provides a 35% resistance to that element.
