heat resistant armour not working

is anybody else having this issue or am i going crazy? i have the best type as well

Your pal is not heat resistant, pull out your pall and you don't receive any dmg

Depends on what you mean by 'not working'
Even legendary only provides tier 2 resistance. Meaning you are NOT completely immune to high temperatures. Check the temperature gauge. If there are any red or blue squares, when the needle reaches them, you will start to take damage. You will need either a hat such as the farmer hat or heat resistant undershirt to make yourself fully immune to heat damage.

and with the last update if your flying a fire pal in the somewhere thats hot you have to have full heat resistance and that requires you to also wear a heat resistance undershirt

I was wondering the same thing. Same pals, same armor, and now I am taking damage like never before. Died twice trying to figure it out and then came here.

I died inside my own desert base building while wearing the best heat resistant armor. Never had that problem before.

open chests in frozen norths dungeons for undershirt+2's. each 1 adds lvl 3 temp resist so 1 of each and u are immune to all cold & heat.

Being over lava can set you on fire even with full heat resistance. Not sure if it's a bug.

if there is another that has an answer, please let me know

just pulled out a fire pal and started to get damaged

tested the others

i am taking damage no matter which fire i have out

tested with the other elements and types

no damage

er... If I understood right, isnt that obvious?
You were using a Fire Pal, which, the Pal adds more heat, since you were taking damage, means more heat than you could handle.
Removing the Fire Pal, you were not taking damage anymore, why? Because you removed the source of heat.

Heat Resistant armors are working for me, BUT, I do think they are either too weak, or the sources of heat are too strong. Because I am starting to find a little bit of a pain to keep switching armors.

i had them out in a reg spot while wearing heat res pal armor

no matter which fire pal i pulled out

the level or anything

i was taking damage

this did not happen before

however, i just reset the game and this is no longer happening

It has already been figured out, you were using a flying pal that was capable of walking when on the ground

You will need to switch to pals that hover on the ground, those are mostly bird type pals you gotta use when crossing over lava with enough fire resistance
