Volcanic Area Burning
Is there a way to not get burned in the volcanic area? When I enter or leave a dungeon in the area I always get lit on fire. I have the pal heat armor. A lot of times this means I just die. Am I missing something?

Fire type pal and Lvl3 heat protection. Go into the cold area and do dungeons there and try to get some +2 Thermal Undershirts.

Firetype won't catch on fire and Lvl 3 will stop you from burning too.

Thermal underwear helps for temperatures. Walking or swimming on lava is not advisable.

Ok so cause my pal armor is only level 2 then I need a thermal shirt too.

I'm not positive if a level 1 will stack with a level 2 to make level 3. I've been rocking the Level 3 undershirts for so long now.

damn level 1 is all I have for now. I'll have to check after I get back from lunch. Maybe i can try mounting my faleris before I leave the dungeon

Won't work. When you teleport out, you'll be on foot.

You can buy both flavors of undershirts at one of the vendors in the desert town. They stack with whatever your armor gives you and that should be enough to go wherever you want in the volcano.

I've seen people confuse this a few times so just FYI: Red Armor resists heat, White Armor resists cold.

Yeah that's what I thought which is why I was having an issue. Lot of times it just spits me out into lava

Yeah but can you buy the uncommon or rare ones? I have the level 1 ones and have a merchant that sells those but don't think ive seen one selling the better ones.

They do stack, if you have a level 2 cold armour on and its night at the mountains you freeze, put on a level 1 undershirt and you don't.

Its good though that there is rare versions of the shirts that give level 3, so if you have one and wear the other armour type you are quite protected from all enviroments.

I do know of one cave in the Volcano area that exits you on top of lava, which can kill you if you don't fly away fast enough. My guess is that just's a terrain error and will be fixed later

Are you flying over lava with a Quivern by chance?

I have a faleris. I'm talking about entering or leaving a dungeon when I can't be mounted

Don't step in lava, buy heat resistant shirts in the desert, use mounts with heat resistance.

well at least one of the dungeons spit you out into lava. I have the shirt, armor and mount

The +2 undershorts completely negate their respective temperature. If you have one of each there's no need for the temp specific armour beyond fashion.
