I think some riding pals are too slow. They are simply not effective to use. And even if you really want to, it’s just suffering.

As a prime solution to mod - 579 - Rebalanced Mount Speed (possibly except for the jetdragon buff)

Have you tried using the pals that are fast instead? That's been working great for me so far.

What you need is a mount with the passives that enhance their speed.

Go for Swift, Runner, and Nimble. in that order. They can also have more than one if you're extra lucky.

Just catch or breed a few more if you plan to use them as a mount.

All riding pals.. except the deer. If you sprint and do its primary attack, you zoom so damn far. Everything else seems like a crawl

yea early game is a pain to travel around, gailclaw is something i just discovered (i knew it had gloves) that has a crazy amount of default speed for horizontal distance over time

It would be good to buff some of the useless mounts like Melpaca with either more speed or a useful mounted ability like Jetragon and Rushoar have, but overall mount access is already pretty generous.

1- strengthening of all mounts is not needed, some are already in tier S.
The solution is a speed coefficient, as setting up the world would be nice.

2 - Slower ones need buffs. I'm not talking about removing the gradation, but about softening it.
The solution is serious acceleration of very slow ones. slight acceleration average.

3 - I understand that you can catch the fast ones, that’s what I did. but it kills some fells, I simply haven’t even studied the technology of their saddles, because... I saw their speed on YouTube videos.
example - There are riding mounts that don't have a decent ability, why should I make a saddle if their speed is ridiculous.
The solution - I honestly don’t know.


The ideas of the mod are option solution 2, which, in my opinion, may not be logical according to the game’s lore, but is necessary for the comfort of the players.

Speed is not everything. There are pals for speed, deal damage, and tank damage. Use them accordingly.

When i first started playing the game I would of 100% agreed with you but as you progress and get higher ranked pals and breed them to get the speed bonus you will see that the beginning flight pals are slow so it kind of forces you to want to progress the game to get faster flight pals. ultimately when you get the jet dragon and glider maxed you can go from 1 side of the map to the other in a extreme short time frame. simply burn through the stamina on the pal pop off at high speed activate glider then pop back on your pal and repeat.
