wool is the sheep's clothing it's impolite to touch their clothes without consent.
And don't even get me started on the milk.
I agree, I don't hold it against them either, they've done a phenomenal job for the small team they have plus learning how to create the game while creating it.
but like also for everything
They so so so so so badly need to make pathing upgrades
Also... WHY ARE TREES SO HARD?
I mean... Tree Tops have extremely rigid bodies, that allows pretty much anything to stand on tree tops... Which helps things get stuck up on them... Make it so that the top of trees are 'softer' and allows for things to 'clip' thru it ffs
I think what's happening now is that transporting is not a high priority task. Pals which have multiple jobs, including transporting, will drop whatever they are carrying to do a higher priority task (like eating, taking a break, logging, mining, etc.) The best solution I can offer is get a pal who only transports.
It's also a bad idea to keep the logging and stone pit buildings after building them for the base upgrade. They distract the few pals we have from other, more useful jobs at that point in the game. Those buildings become much more useful when bases can have 15+ pals on them at higher work levels.
This is what I did for testing purposes and they still bug out even if both are directly next to each other. Its like they are trying to pick up the item, but can't.
i never really did anything to fix it, i assumed it was fixed by the first base ai patch, but maybe there's more to it
Edit, don't build a storage box or anything else in the opening of the ranch, put them to the side as had issues with that as well.
I've seen them spinning and depositing 30stone per second into a container.
I think on the Ranch they get stuck on the fence. Its VERY IMPORTANT that the container you wish to receive items is directly across from the opening on the ranch.
I know this was back in February, but I was having this issue for a while and didn't know what to do, and so I found this forum.
But then I figured mine out while I was reading 😆, so just incase someone reads this👇
""As long as the chest nearby is selected as Private Locked, No pal will transport items to it""
As soon as I unchecked the
"Private Box"
every pal started transporting items.
PS. It can still be locked and they will transport items to it
""Just Don't Private Lock it"".
Dude, this thread was from back in Feburary.
The game's been updated several times since then, likely having already fixed the problem.
