Largest concentrations are in volcanic areas, but you can find a few in dungeons and on the mid-level islands in the centre of the map.

My go-to spot is the volcanic biome tower waypoint. Whole bunch of easily gathered sulphur there.

There's a lot of nodes in the volcano area, there's also some in the desert and in the higher level forest areas. There may be some in the icey areas as well, but I haven't explored that region as much.

There’s a dungeon, down on the beach. Near the beginning area. It will have a sulfur node, in the first room.
