Solo the best way to experience the game right now 100%

Can't say what the game will be like long term, but I've been having fun with it so far.

I currently use gamepass.

My friends even got a server but I prefer to play solo, it's great. 36 hours so far btw.

If you're not the host of the server then you can't play on your character in single player. My friend is 43 and I'm 35 but the raids are up to his level so I'm struggling against higher level syndicate raiders. They'll add character transfer later but now? Recommend you go solo. It's more fun with friends but everyone has their own schedule and you'll get left behind fast.

Yes but custom slider settings for your world is required. Decrease stamina drain for you and your pals to 0.5 or whatever you like... and decrease the hunger drain from 1 to 0.8... maybe switch it so you don't drop anything if you don't like losing items when you get got. Increase pal spawn rates or lower them if your hardware is old. Change whatever else you want should you decide to start over after messing up if you haven't watched tutorials. You're welcome.

There's significantly less lag when playing solo so it's the best way to play the game right now

Yes

I havevn't played multi yet but based on my experiences with Minecraft. I think playing with more ppl may be more fun (with friends obviously yes), can speed up some tasks and make boss fight easier (unless they scale). Can't say how optimised this game atm for mutli even is.

Well...

Some people might say yes, but I will lean towards no. Or let me try to better explain it.

Have you played Minecraft? Do you enjoy it solo? Or any other building/crafting/survival game?

Sure, Palworld has pals to capture, but honestly one of the core mechanics is base building. I play it a little solo and then go to server to play on with others.

So really you should ask yourself. 'Do I enjoy a game where I have to farm materials first and then base build?' Sure a little later when you get things going you can have Pals do the work for you after you capture them, but that is what a heavy part of the game is. If you enjoy base building games then yea, you probably will like Palworld.

Solo doesn't as lag as much and it loads faster. You need loads of patience to enter in multiplayer

Solo is boring

Solo is a great time if you're into survival crafters. I greatly enjoyed my 2-3 mate co-op experiences, but solo removes all the possible issues with rubberbanding, input/damage lag, and host reliance (read: disconnects).

20-odd hours solo so far, tweaked a few difficulty settings like 2x catchrate and 2x world pal drops to tune down the grind a bit. Plan to go back for more, even if the AI pathing is an everpresent annoyance.

Level 40+ and 80+ hours in. Solo Experience is amazing. I would argue at this point in time it is designed more as a singleplayer experience. The Coop Multiplayer is there but serves no real gameplay purpose and even creates some problems. Its still fun in Multiplayer as well but Singleplayer seems to be the bigger focus atm

Solo is def the best choice as of right now. 80 hours in and I've played <10 hours co-op because of how janky it cant be. Hopefully that will be worked on in the future but the game is a helluva lot of fun solo. Definite recommend.

I'd personally recommend you play solo for a bit at least to start. Solo play ain't so bad once you got a decent base started and gather enough Pals to make it run like clockwork.
