I currently use gamepass.
I havevn't played multi yet but based on my experiences with Minecraft. I think playing with more ppl may be more fun (with friends obviously yes), can speed up some tasks and make boss fight easier (unless they scale). Can't say how optimised this game atm for mutli even is.
Some people might say yes, but I will lean towards no. Or let me try to better explain it.
Have you played Minecraft? Do you enjoy it solo? Or any other building/crafting/survival game?
Sure, Palworld has pals to capture, but honestly one of the core mechanics is base building. I play it a little solo and then go to server to play on with others.
So really you should ask yourself. 'Do I enjoy a game where I have to farm materials first and then base build?' Sure a little later when you get things going you can have Pals do the work for you after you capture them, but that is what a heavy part of the game is. If you enjoy base building games then yea, you probably will like Palworld.
20-odd hours solo so far, tweaked a few difficulty settings like 2x catchrate and 2x world pal drops to tune down the grind a bit. Plan to go back for more, even if the AI pathing is an everpresent annoyance.
