Please publish this game on GOG, before it gets taken down, due to various accusations piling up. GOG is far better for game preservation than Steam due to DRM-Free offline installers. Once the offline installer is downloaded, nobody can take it away. Not Nintendo, not the Pokemon company, not GOG themselves.

The game is in no jeopardy of any kind over then the devs getting overwhelmed by the popularity and not meeting the demand for updates and new content fast enough.

The accusations of generative AI content were a lie, stemming from the fact that the CEO of Pocketpair commented on some tweet by some Buzzfeed writer using AI to generate pokemon art a couple years ago. If Nintendo was gonna do anything, they already would have, ergo they have no actionable complaints. The complaints about animal abuse are just vegans and zoomers, and no one cares what they think.

Relax, it isn't going anywhere.

I agree. The more release outlets the better. That way PalWorld's not putting all its eggs in one basket.

Heck, I'd honestly love a DRM-free physical media release with included instructions on how to use the internet to download new updates, patches, etc. Let's get old fashioned!

Just put it in the Epic Games Shop, which supported Satisfactory (Early Access) for Years now...
Biggest Reason for GOG surely isn´t the preservation Part, but the removal of DRM...

You do realize that even if the claims against the game were true, legal action from Nintendo would result in it being pulled from GOG as well, right?

Gog outright refuses to support linux. while steam actively pays people to improve the entire gpu kernel driver stack for both amd and now discrete intel cards.
