Server not showing in *Recent Servers* list after joining

Quick down-low:
I have a dedicated server up and running, I can connect and play at-will *using the external-facing IP address*. It appears in the server lists from websites that scour for palworld servers, but is obviously nigh impossible to find from the current in-game searching.

But, after having connected several times, it doesn't appear in the "recent servers" list.
considering the search-list is "not functioning as it should", right now, I was hoping this would be the best way to get my friends to easily hop on and join.

In short, I would like it to show up in my/anyone's recent servers list, but it is not doing so.

Is this a known issue? Is there something *I* did incorrectly during setup? Would a player have to connect via the list and not IP for that to function?

The server browser is pretty dumb, yes. For recent servers specifically, just keep clicking on 'Recent Servers' (or, if needed, alternate between clicking Community Servers and Recent) to have the list refresh, eventually your recents should show up.

I’m still encountering this issue and the posted above “fix” isnt working for me. I can join the server by inputting the ip and clicking connect otherwise i am not finding it in the community server tab or recent servers tab. Noteeed that I only started to encounter this issue after joining an official server

My dedi server has never appeared And it's been active for since two or three days post launch.

So annoying having to copy/paste the IP every time I want to join it.

Mine no longer shows either. It used to but then stopped showing under 'Recent Servers' recently. My son can connect fine via the 'Recent Server' list under his own profile so it is something specific to my profile/setup, I just don't know what.

Right click the server .exe, make shortcut to the desktop, right click and open properties on the new desktop shortcut to your server, and put this in the target (location of your shortcut first i.e. C:\yourshortcutlocation) -EpicApp=PalServer -- After you do this it should show up in recent tab and also it should show up in the community tab if you search for the name of your server.

Basically your target should look similar to this
"" C:\Your\Desktop\Shortcut -EpicApp=PalServer ""

It's in the same place as every other part of this explanation. I don't have two server installs, so there's no way to confuse the installation in general, let alone config files or .exe files.

For people wanting to keep their server still private... I found that if the IP address is still allowing you too connect the best fix was to the delete the UserOption.sav file in
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\SaveGames. Making a new one seemed to fix the disappearing recent list another one was starting the game without the file and then quit the game and reapplying the file back into the folder.

However some people also had an issue connecting at all or the IP address became messed up for what ever reason and wouldn't allow people to join including people who already had.. we found that giving people our UserOption.sav allowed them to see the server in their recent list and connect again.

My server showed up the first couple times I got on it but when I went to go see another server for a second my server is now gone and only that server's there anybody have a fix for that. Please say you do. I'm tired of putting in my server IP

I have found with my dedicated server it does this after a couple days up and active. I simply shutdown the server and start it back up, and it re-appears in recent section.
