Im in singleplayer world and i will not be able to finish it.. before entering it says 1/4 but it doesnt search for other people. Quite obvious that this boss is supposed to be done in multiplayer

yes you can solo

All bosses can be done in multiplayer and also solo.

Everyone that wants to join has to press F to form the team that goes in.

But to start the actual battle you need to hold F.

You can even solo the hard version (not hard game difficulty, there is hard bosses in all difficulties) though it's pretty tough. It seems they made the hard versions with multiply in mind.
