Can't find a galaxite ore boulder

The topic says it all - i searched for hours in different worlds for an galaxite ore boulder but never found one. What do i miss? Is there something you have to know to find them? Desert of the Beginnings - never found ONE, but severeal solarite ore boulders in the shimmering forests, which were occasionally in the desert

I usually find them hidden inside of some desert block wall or find then inside of obsidian biome.

That coming from me into breaking wall for looking for locked galaxite chest and also removing all wall in that area.

So far in the three maps I've explored they're usually pretty common in the Desert area, but I have had to wander a bit to find them. Most were found inside walls while I was collecting ore. Several were only spotted later when I was looking at the minimap because they show up as white squares on the map.

do any of you have ore bars or anything you dont want no more or willing to share <3
im trying to collect all the different chests too hehe.

You can collect hundreds and hundreds of galaxite in the desert, though. Even better, you can make a map with max ore spawn and just collect thousands very easily.

Do more thorough digging/exploring and actually mine some tunnels and you should find plenty of boulders. I've noticed most people who complain about not finding many ore boulders just have narrow paths around their map and haven't filled it out much. The boulders are likely hiding in plain sight. On that note, you can check the explored areas of your map for a 2x2 of white pixels, since that's what the boulders show up as, and it can appear on your map even if it was in the dark surrounded by walls as long as you walked close enough to it. Sometimes that works to find boulders.

Thank you both for the tipps - in a new world i found some of them. In my originally world there aren`t so much places where i can dig. I have a world with strong overlapping and little bioms - i think that is the reason for not having so much "wall areas" where i can dig
