I find it ok. I dont need more enemy types. But i can say a high dmg sword is much fk'ing better than a wood sword and looks a hell of a lot better. LoL But yeah, they both swing to hit things.
Feels like enough to me, but a a few more would be nice, especially for the new summons.
I dont think so. End game most player will be using the most powerful sword most times. Probably the same for other classes.
edit: combined my 2 posts into one
There's 19 bosses, of which 8 are resprites with similar behavior to another boss but with a few new attack patterns and/or higher stats.
Weapons never get any crazy special effects; a melee weapons is swung or thrust in front of you and a ranged weapon shoots one projectile in a straight line (with a few exceptions).
Personally I'm okay with those facts, since intense combat against a wide variety of enemies is not what I play Core Keeper for. It's a combat-heavy game to be sure, but a slower, more relaxed one than usual.
So yes buy it now it's working fine and great.
Ranged weapons have a bit more variety with higher damage but low fire rate or fast fire rate but lower damage. some weapons can be charged up to do a spread shot or bounce, and then there are also explosive ranged weapons that deal aoe damage to anything or anyone in the radius.
Magic weapons mirror the above except they require mana but is typically stronger.
Summon weapons... there are very few of them. they are each unique from the others but summoner as a whole needs some work.
What keeps me coming back to core keeper is the exploration, charming atmosphere (graphics, music, setting, etc), skill progression and that I can set up automation for pretty much every material in the game.
I think I'm about half and half on that? got two different friend groups that I play together with But also played the early access to completion solo.
You are an edge case, most of us are having no issues playing the game. Do you think your issues are more likely to be fixed if people listen to you and don't buy it, or they buy it and the devs have enough money to keep developing and fixing bugs?
