How to get Bugs for Animal Food efficiently?

So i have some Stroly Polys and they need Bugs for Food. I set up my Wood Farm inside their Pasture so that the Bugs that spawn from breaking the wood can be eaten by them, but it is not enough, i get rarely any Plates. I find it very tedious to run around with a Bug Net regularly. So is there any way to farm enough Bugs automatically?

The bug biome has lots of 'larvalets' which can be bug-netted in mass. Not the best solution, but quick regardless.

My strolly polly farm has meadow ground that i tilled and planted assorted crops, it makes worms that they will eat.

First i had the wood farm along 2 walls, then I put it 2 deep but spaced along one wall, 2 rows of 8 to make beetles.

And I found making my main wood farm walled in with a single conveyor belt lets me run down it with the Butterfly Net to catch a lot of beetles each swoop every now and then.

Good luck.

Oh, back in 2023, those cocoons would spawn grubs, but there was a catch with that. No clue if it still works or if anything changed.
