Whats the chest crafting range?
So the question seems simple but I am genuinly confused atm.

I understand that we can craft items from chests using the crafting tables directly next to them right? But now I sit here with a crafting table 2 blocks away and it still works. But then I had to move my stuff and replace everything to build a proper base and now it wont anymore. Maybe it was luck or a glitch I dont know but at this stage I wanna know if anyone actually knows the chest range.

If its just a 1 spot range from the chest itself or a 3x3 around a small chest and a 3x4 around a 1x2? Or is it more? Cause I genuinly cant tell.

Saw that some tables now are able to just switch to other tables so I thought maybe just the main table needs to be connected but thats also a nope and then some. I dont get it. Im very confused.

Directly next to the chest, including diagonals.

This was a nice change, i'm using those boss chests since they're huge and can have more tables beside them.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

You're correcting a post from a year ago, please look at dates...

Yes and? I clearly didnt know that things changed. And I was still subscribed to the thread. Why are you telling someone to stop when I, the OP, clearly benefited from them sharing the info?

Also, whats the point of telling someone its an old thread via a reply on an old thread? You are literally doing nothing but waste your own time by doing this. Be my guest if that is what you wish to do, but your reply was more pointless than kioz. Cause Kioz reply at the very least showed me that things indeed changed.

I had to redo the workstation and chest placement a few times to get it all in range, would be nice if it was a bit larger or if there was an option or maybe an item that increased it.

Kioz Reply was way more pointless than SirPanty ones... That guy correcting a User saying he spread incorrect Information... he not clarifies that an Update changed that, he just calls someone reply as incorrect, while this Info was correct at the time of writing.

And then just were a plain necro without notice that it, they have even been a necro ^^ Since, someone with open eyes, would notice that there was at least a Year between the Replies.... and could conclude from that Information, that an Update had change said mechanic ^^

Ok now we necro just to necro. Can a mod please close this?

---

I am not going to have a discussion on why Kioz reply was way more helpful than Pantys. Considering Panty added nothing to the conversation and just said that its been a year since the thread was made.

And that was after 2 other comments were made, one of which clearly displayed that they didnt know the information has changed as I hadnt played much more before it was indeed changed. So no. Kioz comment wasnt pointless. It helped someone. ME.

---

I just wanna add this as a final actual comment cause I will be actually finally muting the thread after this:

It has come to a point where I just have grown frustrated and impatient with how some people use forums. Its no longer the case that people can just go into a thread and say something that is related to the post. There always has to be at least someone who says something to take someone down a notch.

And I am not innocent on that end, I have done it myself before. But I also changed that behavior a lot. Unless I am already involved, I wont involve myself. Unless I have something actually helpful to add, I wont add anything at all.

Coming into a thread to "correct misinformation" even if said information is a year old when the thread isnt locked? Cool by me. Its fine. It is literally no issue at all. It is still helpful regardless. If it was 10 years old? Yea ok you got me.

Coming into the same thread only to say "That was a year ago" as if it has any relevance? No sorry, it is not related nor important. Some people may look up the information overall and end up finding this thread. In which a user, 1 year after the post was made, reveals that actually the range is higher now. When otherwise the person may have only found outdated information. It has happened to me multiple times before already. And it will continue to happen Im very sure of that. Cause the internet never changes.

---

The Forums arent a battleground. And users shouldnt police what others can and cant say depending on anything that may be present. If the mods see its an old thread and it serves no purpose, they will close it.

We arent mods.

And Pantys response was still pointless. Same as my reply and yours. Yes by the time of writing the information was correct. By the time they (The other person) wrote the reply it was not. They didnt word it properly, sure. They didnt say "It changed". But as you also write, one can put 1 and 1 together and somehow not land on "Fish". But on 2. The dates dont even matter. Information changed. And by the end we know the final piece of it. And that is all that matters. The Final Truth.

Who cares if its been a year? None of us do. Someone just had to come in to take someone down a notch cause they are unhappy with their own life. This is a gaming Forum. This isnt Social Media. Yet people treat it like it is.
Vi-El Apr 8 @ 7:05pm
TLDR: No one cares if its been a year. People need to stop using Gaming Forums like its Social Media and touch grass. And also Kioz Reply was still more helpful and Im not gonna debate it.

Muting thread.
"There always has to be at least someone who says something to take someone down a notch." Exaclty like Kioz it did...

"Coming into a thread to "correct misinformation" even if said information is a year old when the thread isnt locked? Cool by me. Its fine. It is literally no issue at all. It is still helpful regardless. If it was 10 years old? Yea ok you got me."

The Point you are missing is, its a small different on, correcting misinformation, and call someones Information as Incorrect, that was indeed correct at time of writing. Acting like what they written was Incorrect from the beginn. Which wasn't the case here.

It is indeed an Issue, because they act not like "Ok that Info isn't correct anymore, there was a Update" they act like "what you said was wrong"

Like are you always uptodate with anything you written here in the forums? Probably not, so why did Kioz blame someone, that do the same as everyone? Like Kioz would do it self ^^

Yes no one case if its been a year old, I just care if someone write ♥♥♥♥... I give a ♥♥♥♥ on Necros, because they happen, they were one single post about a specific bug in the Mad Max Game, and I had something to tell about the Bug and some Issues with Fixing this, and even had to use Cheat Engine... and Still I got blamed for Necro... and Ask what is worse? Creating 100 of Post for the same ♥♥♥♥ already told? or Just do a Necro? Is it my fault for people are to dumb to mute a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ post? Clearly not, because, I did this every time, I was done with something...

But I agree, Both Panty and Kioz was pointless... thats a Compromis I can take... Its fine for Kioz to say thats incorrect, but not when its sound like its the Original posters blame...

Especially when you mark his Anwser as that one anwsering the Initial Question which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because the Initial Question was long before it even was the correct anwser :P

Or lets say. its more confusion, that the initial anwser from Kona got not marked by you as the anwser, just by a thank you, and than over a year later the comment that saying its incorrect without, explaination why, and not mention the update that changed it to be incorrect got marked as THE ANWSER...
