How the +#ä* can i reduce the spawn rate?
Srsly i played Elden ring and it wasn't as frustrating as this game when it comes to mobs.
It's not like in minecraft, that u light out a place with torches and get some peace(why).
I red that i have to place the torches on the spawnpoitn of the mobs. How the *#ä+# am i supposed to know where exactly they spawn?
Can i alter the config in any way?

Sorry for the hate but i died the seventh time now trying to get my tombstone back and they keep respawning within minutes

Use the hoe to remove for example the slime or the moss. Then mobs stop spawning. On the other hand, you can plant slime in an arena and make a mob farm this way.

Slimes spawn on ground slime. You can dig it up with the hoe or the shovel, and stuff it in a box (or just trash it, if you don't intend to make a mob farm).

Similarly, Shroomen (the ambulatory mushrooms) spawn on Fungal Soil, Cavelings on Moss, Larvae on Chrysalis... you can deal with those tiles the same as ground slime.

This game is actually better than minecraft in that regard, as you can have a "clean" base without having to light everything up excessively. Mobs spawn on specific tiles, and lighting does not affect spawns in any way.

You can check this out, it's very useful: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2846860078
