stuck at mission "search warp storms for candidate world" (possible spoilers)

I've been to every world with a warp storm on it and passed through several of the storms but nothing happens. Is this bugged and I can't continue or am I doing something wrong here?

I too wonder about this, Im currently going through them without anything poping out. Nearing the 1000days and Morbus at lvl 4, so either I find that thing or I get 2 gates and ggs...

I'm also at morbus 4 because sometimes they just pop up somewhere where you have no chance to reach it. I'm wondering if that's on purpose and it's supposed to go to 5 or will that just end the game?

up over a thousand days now and nothing has happened, went over the entire map several times. I feel like this has to be a bug, and well this is just boring now because all these missions are just basically the same one over and over.

Im not sure, but everything and everyone in the game screams at you to no let it reach lvl 5. Also it looks like some of the familiar mechanics from other games, where the game ends your run somehow. Still havent wound the warp world.

Events start when you pass the time with the time control while standing still, not while traveling through the warp (even if time is ticking). I advise you to stand still in one place and let the time pass. The appropriate event should appear in one of the active warp storms. Try this and let me know.

Hmm that makes sense, I didn't want to sit and wait because I needed to chase every new gate that opens, but now that I have a gate next to the warp storm I'll give it a try.

Ok I've tried to sit in multiple warp storms for days and nothing happens... Now im just running around closing gates on autopilot, theres no challenge at all I just stomp w/e the game throws at me in few turns... Just wanted to finish the game and move on :/

i got the same problem, i got all my knigths on lv 9 and running up to lv 3 generator and have finished all the reasearch, but i got no clue on how to trigger this mission?
I have tried flying into warpstorms, passing time in them, doing missions in them or fighting these enemy ships... nothing worked... i think bug ?

Same, got all research done, nothing happening, I've tried everything I could think of. It's got to be a bug, and hopefully not one I will have to start the game over if they patch it at some point.

Same here. When I finished the research on what's his name, the game went to a black screen and froze. Restarted, got the cinematic immediately on load, and since then I've spent around 100 days tooling around, closing gates, gathering seeds, and sitting in storms letting time pass.

no idea i found the planet my second warp storm...i didnt even have to go to a planet just entered the storm and it popped

There must be a bug. Around day 600 I got the quest, I have the enhanced fields and I have just been flying between storms for 400 days and nothing
