Farming Fest is all about green thumbs and growing big, bold and beautiful crops.

The plants that you'll find in the desert of Wildmender and their uses are seemingly endless. Snack on the fruit of a Rainbloom Cactus for some much-needed hydration or harvest your Thorntail to make a healing poultice. In Wildmender, your survival depends on the garden you grow and the fruits of your labour.

Giant sunburst shrubs?

Anyone found a spot where these grow? i have searched all over the dunes. i read somewhere they arent in a cluster but among others and i systematically searched basically every dead shrub in the dunes. I'm starting to worry they didnt spawn in my world but according to dev posts i've seen it seems like every of the standard variants always spawn somewhere but i have not been able to find the giant variety. any help would be appreciated :)...

But what exactly is the Earth Appreciation Festival?

To celebrate Earth Day each year, game development studio Mechanistry brings together a host of spectacular indie games that spotlight both the dark and light side of today's environmental challenges. Some of the games selected focus on post-apocalyptic themes and tackle issues such as pollution, overpopulation, rapid climate change, and lack of sustainability. Others, such as Wildmender, carry a strong message about the power of an individual to help the environment and change their circumstances for the better, one seed at a time!

In fact, promoting this message has been at the heart of our decision to create Wildmender, which is why we entered into a collaboration with the Rainforest Alliance in September 2023. We even created a special frog hat DLC, which was inspired by the Rainforest Alliance’s iconic logo 🐸

I've had a lot of fun with this game so far. Large map to explore. Fun variety of mobility mechanics. Great Zelda feel to it. But what caught me off guard was how much I enjoy the cultivation/restoration piece. It's really quite a beautiful game. I imagine co-op is fun too but I haven't tried it since I don't have friends and the dogs prefer to play on consoles.
