When moving the camera it has small crashes, on ps4 and ps5 there is no such problem
I'm playing everything in 4k max on an rtx 3080ti.
the background textures on the stage (landscape like mountains and snake statues are low resolution.
and the game does not open in full screen mode, it is in full window mode without borders

R5 1600 and RX 580, original settings.
FPS is a mess, it varys a lot depending on where you are looking, first boss dropped hard to 22 when fighting behind kratos house.

On the main bridge I'm gettings around 32, other parts of the map vary from 44 to 55...

When I run this game both the audio & video stutter/lag. As soon as the 'Santa Monica Studios' comes up, audio is spot on. Then I get to the main title screen...perfect audio and intolerable lagging/stuttering video.

Running on:

AMD A10-7800 Radeon R7
12 Compute Cores 4C+8G
3.50 GHz

Tried all the basic 'fixes' (clearing cache, browser data, checking game integrity, etc), but no dice...still doing this.

Any other suggestions?

You're trying to run a 2018 game on a 2014 processor with integrated graphics. Do you have a GPU?

Pleasantly surprised tonreport that the game does play rather well with Steam Play Proton on Linux with an old GTX 1080 on high settings @1080p, the game can even be set to the right monitor within the game itself. My only gripe is lack of true fullscreen, and that there seems to be video memory leak that when tweaking graphics options can cause FPS to dramatically drop (went from 60+ to 2 when testing scaling and FSR).

Other than that, everything seems to play nice. I only got an hour of gameplay due to being quite late for me, so I'll keep an eye on performance as I progress to the more demanding areas.

Seems to be a rather good port.

You're trying to run a 2018 game on a 2014 processor with integrated graphics. Do you have a GPU?

Have a AMD Radeon(TM) R7 GPU.

With my CPU being an ancient beast, should I upgrade this?

I would definitely say playing on PC is better than the PS5. PS5 is a beast of a console though.

Memory is leaking for sure. 97% of my 16 GB of RAM were consumed after about an hour and a half of playtime. 96% of VRAM consumed as well. 3080 Ti, 5800x @ 1440p

rx 570 here, same issue, seems like game is not optimized well for amd then.

r5 2600 and rtx 2060s 16 gigs of ram game works pretty good on high settings 70 fps but it has some drops in some areas. low shadows got me pretty good fps gain.

Getting some weird FPS drops every now and then. I believe it's related to background loading but it shouldn't be this bad on a SSD. The game slows down and then suddenly spikes up again after few seconds. It was running better during the tutorial area (only dropped frames at the temple door which was obvious loading) buy now at the Lake of the Nine area FPS drops are pretty consistent and annoying. I'm using Digital Foundry's optimized settings at 1440p.

I had a long break after the tutorial (at the Witch's House), the game was fully shut down but didn't restart the PC). After returning to the game, the FPS issues were much worse.
