Each Controller have Pros and Cons, for myself the position of the thumbs on a PS controller is a joke... way better the position on a Xbox Controller.
On the other side, the buttons on a PS Controller are way better....
btw: the PS5 Dualsense Controller looks FANTASTIC!
You need third-party software to make a DualSense controller work with this game. Steam Input may be able to help you there, but @#$% Steam Input.
The actual standalone game (i.e. Epic Game Store) doesn't support DualSense. So there's no special features for DualSense, I can guarantee you this much. It only works by emulating XInput.
You even get the correct controller shown in the options menu but you don't get any new features.
So the wired controller works flawlessly with God of War but it does not support the adaptive trigger or the better rumble.
Which is stupid so you might as well use the Xbox controller.
The LED does change its light depanding on certain conditions. Same as in Day's Gone.
