i remember at launch some complaints about resolution n other pc port specific issues. how the game run now? common crashes? resolution scaling issues? full screen problems? hows the fps?

I finally want to get into the series after discovering that the 2 game in the Master Collection has a mod on Nexus that fixes a bunch of issues to make it closer to the original. However, I am unsure what I should play for the true experience. Should I play the Ninja Gaiden 2 game from the collection with the mod or the recently released remaster? (I love difficulty and find a good challenge important. I have spent many hours playing Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.)...

The first game had so many horrible boss fights and such terrible enemy placement. Part 2 is miles beyond the first game. It's no DMC but definitely an 8/10 character action game.

I can't access the point shop for this game. But I can for Sigma 1 and 3.

I tried to finish the game to complete the entire Master Collection, but it was impossible. In Chapter 10, inside the chapel, the game freezes (?). I simply can't progress after the ambush; the door to the stairs won't open... so I think I'll leave it there. It's not like I'm in a rush to finish Sigma 2, my recommendation is still to mod it to remove censorship, increase enemies, and generally restore content.
