Agent 64: Spies Never Die

Agent 64: Spies Never Die

Only 14 levels?
Seems a bit underwhelming after 6 years.
Even without unlocks GE an PD had 18 and 17 respectively.

it needs more achievements too. 11 is kinda low. I'm sure there will be countless updates to the game though, so content is probably going to increase over time. It also needs some blood.

Yeah 11 achievements are way too low, there are many one can add in this type of game.
I mean after the final level it says... Coming Soon. so maybe wait for that? Game came out only 2 days ago.
So we are comparing games from dev houses with indie projects now

Games from dev houses from over 2.5 decades ago.

If said indie game is inspired by another game then yes, people will still end up making comparison.

Goldeneye was in development for 2.5~3 years
This was at least 5 (+whatever dev time spent before the steam page went live).
Programming resources and the tools used to make the assets are way more advanced now than back then plus this dev didn't have the pressure of targeting a very specific platform with limited hardware.
That and the fact that the game presents itself as inspired by those games to a high degree makes it fair to compare the two, yes, indie or not.
thats what im saying
I can't believe ppl are comparing some dude with a whole studio of coders, artists, managers, writers, etc... and the kind of backing that comes from an actual Bond movie. Jeez.

I suppose he should take it as a compliment. :laughcat:
Also good luck with those last 3 achieves. :cozybethesda: Id rather those than 50 inane ones.
"why can't one person (who might not even had experience making games before this) make an entire game bigger than one whole studio filled with talent made?"

I'm not a dev but I'm assembling steam achievement templates.

There should be achievements for co-op campaigns being completed. There should be more achievements like 'kill 100 pulp"; something like kill 1007 enemies. I'm working through them as play the game. Something fun for me to do. I'll post it to discord when it's complete.
Game is out! Time to complain about every little thing we can!!

You can also open a restaurant and be the waiter, the cook, the cleaner, and the customer service yourself. You have better technology and more resources than in the 90s.

Your criticism makes a lot of sense, yes...

This isn't early access. The full game should be here.
