How to play family steam?

My brother bought the game on his account, on family access I can launch on my account but the game won't launch, rockstar launcher writes that there is no access.

No, only rockstar can change it.

Yeah, weird, I thought my whole family would be playing the updated GTA and it turns out there's an obstacle in the form of rockstar launcher.

It says you need a steam account where you bought the game.

Agreed they won't let you, I made an acc 10-15 yrs ago and forgot it. They say its linked and won't let me play definitive editions on any other acc. Stupidest thing I've seen in a while.

Even ubisoft lets you sign in and choose to link games to whatever account

It's a crutch, I'd like a full-fledged game. This way is no different from a pirated copy.

but its in steam u can find how much hours did u play
