DLSS 3 when?

AMD is sponsored in a lot of games and still have DLSS come out. Even Forza originally had FSR support before DLSS and now FH5 has frame gen. I doubt there is a contract exclusivity for this game and even then it would only be for a period of time.

Yes it can come just like other FSR/AMD partnered games at launch. "For instance, Horizon Zero Dawn, another AMD-sponsored title, added DLSS in a patch around 4 months after launch. Deathloop added it even quicker. So, you RTX card owners likely just have to be patient, but you’re allowed to be a little bit disappointed in the meantime."

the rest haven't received it and it's been years

if anything this only proves it's contract based

there's no "rtx" in games, rtx is an nvidia marketing gimmick, it's just rt

if the rt implementation is bad, dlss isn't gonna fix it, the rt implementation itself has to be fixed

Not entirely true. DLSS 3.0 with framegen fixes a lot of CPU bottlenecks brought on by RT implementations. Spiderman was another game that had a very similar issue on also being very CPU heavy then frame gen dumps a lot of that work back on the GPU.

Callisto is more AAA I would think any improvement to RT (which DLSS would bring over FSR) would help somewhat. However Steam Deck, Consoles, and plenty of PC gamers are AMD-centric, and maybe companies just want to cater to that?

dlss is open source and takes less than a day to implement

amd sponsored games don't have dlss because it's a contract stipulation, absolutely nothing to do with what you said

just use fsr3 mod since they're neglecting the game with features that'll improve the performance of the game
