i really like the game but no DLSS sucks
yes i have it with EA Play Pro
DS supports BOTH FSR and DLSS. Got that right for once. Do you have more stutters in TCP or DS OP by using a Nvidia Card?
Not ALL AMD sponsored games lack DLSS
just as not ALL Nvidia sponsored games lack FSR2.1
The game was designed for Console 1st though, and Nvidia doesnt have a foot in the console market, so naturally the bulk of the games development would have 0 thoughts towards Nvidia hardware.
Does not mean they could not add DLSS in later, but if they were going to
i would not envision it happening until there are no more core changes required that need to span platforms.
Though in all honesty, if you are only getting 5 FPS, DLSS will not save you at all as even a GTX 1060 will get better than 5 FPS,and i assume you have better than that?
So something is going fundamentally wrong if you are achieving only 5 FPS
Even with ray tracing on, it does not run that badly for me on low end hardware
Lmao DS has one of the worst traversal stutters.
You don't have to believe me just enable frametime graph and see for yourself, compare it with TCP to see which ones actually smoother.
Fortnight literally supported a lot of Nvidia tech, so Unreal Engine dev's literally put it in and tested. Unreal 5 --> let's go all in on consoles --> all software based solutions that help the PS5 because that's all AMD hardware.
But for PC why strip away the RTX stuff you already added in? Makes no sense.
In Callisto's case, AMD gave you a check to highlight their stuff which works on Xbox/PS5 .. ok coolio. But it seems they won't drop in at LEAST DLSS which is a nice hardware solution for many PC gamers. What is an option going to do for people?
Trust me no one is going to run out and ditch their video card and buy Nvidia's card JUST because The Callisto Protocol added DLSS.
For Cyberpunk maybe...
But then again CDPR (and the Metro guys and a handful of other devs) really like being the benchmark game on PC and offer like every current option available in their game and STILL try to fit in well with consoles...
i liked the game a lot but i can't stand the frame drops and stutters really so i refunded...if they add DLSS i will buy it again
Can confirm.
I have a 4090 OC and a 13900k. I get a 19k+ in Time Spy advanced, but can't play this game with RTX on Medium with more than 55-60 FPS average in 4k with everything else maxed. I have an extremely open case with extreme cooling, and my temps don't clear 55c on either my card or CPU, so its not like they are being worked.
Dead Space with everything maxed (RT Maxed) I can get 155-200 FPS in 4k, without any DLSS upscaling. Temps around 45-50c on both CPU and GPU.
I love TCP, but the game just isn't optimized for RT. I can get perfectly smooth 120+ FPS with RT off, but its with it on its like half. This game would greatly benefit from DLSS 3.0's frame generation.
Are you using FSR2 at least? It helps. I have a 4090 and can do 60fps with max settings and FSR on Balanced with a 10 series intel CPU.
Balanced Benchmark - 57.35 average fps
Quality Benchmark - 55.45 average fps
As you can see FSR is so much more killer than DLSS
I also liked the game but cant stand the nonsense frame drops and stutters, if this game had DLSS and frame generation the image quality would be much superior and frame gen would alleviate the fps drops and stuttters, i have a RTX 4090 and have fps drops below 60fps and dont see much improvements between native 4k and FSR 2 quality.
