Crossplay between Steam and EGS?

I know there isn't console crossplay, but does Steam/EGS crossplay exist?

Since the game isn't available on Epic yet, still uncertain, and no official word on this probably.

Though it's very common for games, when releasing on Epic (specially as freebies) to receive a patch on Steam adding Epic Online Services (EOS) support, that when enabled, allow crossplay with Epic/Steam. It's almost a rule, seen this happen all times - often with issues at first, though.

Last Steam depot update is from 14 Jun, 2023 (319 days ago). Let's see if it gets a Steam updated over the following days!

Last word on crossplay was confirming crossplay between Microsoft Store versions of console and PC, when added to Game Pass:

Ok cool, thank you! For some reason I thought OMD 3 was originally exclusive to EGS, then brought to Steam... but it seems it's the other way around!

Indeed, you got confused! It was a Google Stadia exclusive instead!
