I'd probably stick with the briar patch and some kind of ice element to keep them in place for consistent physical damage since there isn't anything that is immune to it on the ground.
The fire lasers give fire damage and can be paired with arcane brimstone or with more fire damage tar, I just personally find lightning damage and arcane brimstone to be a more useful damage type, especially considering fire immune demons and lightning weak armored ogres. Lightning and arcane brimstone just seems like a more universally applicable combination.
Well clearing certain maps allows you to access some traps, but most can just be bought, along with their upgrades, by spending the skulls you collect. You just have to go to the Spellbook.
It's all good--we all do stuff like that
The are great for combos and are good for metal covered enemies like armored ogres
This is good for first 5 waves only after that they are a wasted spot for a better trap.
