Not yet. I hope the secretaries go back to basics and be in a team with their former boss Goenitz, but as a non boss char.

Some people want them with Rugal, but they never were with him other but by orders of Goenitz to watch over him. Some others want them with Yamazaki when Yamazaki has 0 interest in Orochi.

I think it's time for Mr koko desuka to has his glorious return as CYS with his secretaries.

I'm thinking one of the DLC teams may be Rugal-Vice-Mature. That's a pretty hype team that would get purchases. I'd expect costume re-designs for the secretaries to justify the extra cost. They're overdue for those anyway. Give 'em non-matching outfits this time.

I have a hard feeling that Rugal will be in the game but alone. There's no real reason for him to team up with them. They were never his actual secretaries but pretending only. They would be better with Goenitz.

They also have a bad relationship with Goenitz though. Their real loyalty is to Orochi, not the Hakkeshu. They straight up told Goenitz in 96 that they were only using him to break the seal. That's pretty much their motif, they find powerful men and try to use them to advance their own quest for power: Rugal, Iori, Goenitz, even Verse in their win quotes against him. So if they were to team up with Rugal again, that would be their intent, and they'd probably be open about it like they were with Iori once they returned to the human world. But Rugal is the type of guy who'd think, "yeah, they're trying to use me, but actually I'm going to use them." Whereas I think Goenitz would be less likely to forgive them.

But it's KoF in the end. If Mary, Billy and Yamazaki can be a recurring team, anybody can be a team if those are the characters SNK wants in the game.

That's a fair point and I do understand and agree with that. However Rugal was defeated by 'normal' people, going back with him would mean they downgrade each other with a 'weak' opponent again.

I know they were never loyal to anyone but Orochi but Goenitz is quite strong to have taken Rugal's eye and forgive his life, defeat Kyo easily, kill Maki, Chizuru's sister with ease, take revenge on Gaidel with grace w/o moving a finger and making his daughter kill all the village, him included. He even agreed to let Kyo live to train so he could have a second chance. Was defeated to the 3 treasures but fighting alone and finally commiting suicide.

I mean it's not like he's weak at all. They were all using each other after all. The women because of his power, and him using them as his secretaries and personal murderers.

Iori is now 'busy' so their best bet would be to return with Goenitz.

That's something never was explained clearly. They were dead as all Hakkeshu but Yamazaki but suddenly returned 'as shadows'? Why. And why the other chars needed Verse to die instead? It's not like M&V are superior or something. I think that's a hole in KoF's lore that makes the story incoherent. Besides they are masochist or stupid, bc they return to team up with the man that killed him just because?

Oh I definitely disagree here. You'd say that Goenitz wouldn't forgive them but yet he forgave Rugal by letting him live and EVEN have some of Orochi power. He also had his revenge on them when he triggered the riot of blood on Iori and make him kill them. It's suppsed according to Goenitz bio that while he hates humanity because of how they mistreat the planet and stuff, he likes people faithful to Orochi afterall. I'd really think he's in peace with them after he took his revenge and they could continue 'using' each other. I do agree that Rugal wouldn't mind using/being used either but again I feel they are more strongly connected to Goenitz than to Rugal as fake secretaries.

Besides it would be SUCH a disappointment if they team up with him and even worse if they are called "Rugal team" meaning they are the 2 most stupid chars ever being just accesories to some man always. "Yagami team" who even kills them and they brainlessly come back with him. "Rugal team" even as fake secretaries make them the most idiotic chars ever. I think it's time to have some personality and form a nice team and stop being the expendable and braindead chars they became.

I do agree with that. It's SNK's game afterall, they can even team up with... Shingo but it would be pretty stupid and lame, why making a lore if you won't even respect that and make them shadows while of the rest need Verse to die. But whatever.
