Furthermore it's been announced:

So it seems the game is finally complete with 59 fighters which it's a pitty since it was just one season about to reach the same roster number a KoF ever got: KoF2002UM with 66 or even outnumber it with one more extra char.

Personally I believe Samurai Shodown team is out of place here and it would have been better to instead have a World Heroes Team with Hanzo, Naoko and Dragon since those characters have unique fighting styles not present in KoF and are also great chars.

I also think it's time Orochi team + Awakened Orochi team should once and for all merge into one definitive team form and stop wasting double slots. Maybe unified fighting styles from both forms?

NOW and just in case there were a new season (6 chars + 1 free boss) who would you like the chars to be?

Personally I'd love:

Eiji Kisaragi and Foxy I don't really mind about the rest but they could be, Kensou, Shen Woo maybe Gein and Alice and would take any boss no complaints. +1 extra for Gaidel but we all know that's definitely not gonna happen any time soon lol.

May Lee and Chang Koehan, in that order of preference, would be the two I'd like to see in the game, and any other would be welcome, like Freeman (Garou).

In my opinion, the Samurai Shodown team has fit really well and I'm glad they're in this KoF, if they added more, they'd be welcome :)
It would also be great if they incorporated characters from World Heroes (Dragon, Jeanne and Brocken) or Metal Slug (Tarma, Marco, Fio and Eri), although the latter don't belong to this genre, they fit really well with Leona's team and they already incorporated some characters in Maximum Impact 2 in a very successful way.

Team Samsho was a nice addition. The characters they picked for team Samsho? Not so much.

Hoping the balance patch will finally make this an enjoyable game for more than 1-2 weeks until everyone discovers the stupid characters and buttons.

Agreed I like the Samurai Shodown team and wouldn't mind another team with Narokurur's sister in it.

SamSho chars are definitely great I agree. What I personally don't like about them is that they have their own game where everybody have weapons and adding them to KoF imo felt a bit out of place as only a few ones fight with weapons.

I still feel SNK is wasting and forgetting tons of great characters such as those from World Heroes and Art of Fighting.

We still don't have any "Bruce Lee" clon such as Fei Long on SF, Law on Tekken, Liu Kang on Mortal Kombat, Lee on Dead or Alive, etc. That's why Dragon from World heroes could do excellent on KoF with Naoko, another style missing on Kof (judo) and Hanzo a sort of shoto-shinobi That would make a perfect team. Jane already appeared on SNK heroine girls plus imo as she has a big weapond would do better on SamSho and Fuuma is like Ryu-Ken, too clonish.

Not to mention there would be place for a second WH team with maybe Mudman, Shura, and the viking or the pirate, even the football player. All of them are great.

And AoF has Eiji wich has been ignored since KoFXI, Lee Pai Long, Mr Big, etc. Too many forgotten chars.

Btw also forgot to mention Mature & Vice dlc will also come with a balance patch.
