I COULDN'T CARE LESS about glasses on a Muay Thai fighter. We had a sexy pirate in the first Garou fighting some of the best fighters. Logic has no place here.
basically all blondes and feminine.
I like both so it's cool but, as usual sadly with SNK nowadays, it seems that all the necessary efforts haven't been made here.
Something i noticed since kof 14. SNK's games are decent enough but it's always as if they are just aiming for the low hanging fruits you know. Always good, never excellent.
Competition is fierce with franchises like Street Fighters, MK and Guilty Gear around. Gotta keep up man.
I mean, SNK didn't use to be niche. It never was as mainstream as maybe Capcom (to take a famous example, though in Japan that point could be disputed) but gee...
uuugh this game really sucks with its characters
Neither Terry nor Rock are among my favorites... in fact I ended up hating them thanks to KoF XV, it seems that for some reason these characters must be op and if they are not, they will release a balance patch for it, screwing up the rest of the teams.
Seeing these characters in GAROU for me is a negative thing... SNK should turn the page and offer a greater number of new fighters in their game... they seem somewhat lacking in originality.
The GAROU roster also doesn't show any character that I really feel like playing with. My favorite team in KoF XV is Kronhen and I doubt that any of them will have a place in GAROU.
I look forward to the arrival of Vice and Mature, not only to have another 2 great fighters in the game, but to see how the game ends up in relation to Hitbox, Pushbox and balance. In my opinion, the 'balance' patches that came with Hinako ruined the game and if we look at the forum threads there is a lot of abandonment out of frustration, it seems that it is more important to find the broken characters than to learn to play with the characters that fit your play style or that you like.
In what I've seen in GAROU the gameplay looks really good and seems faithful to its original play style, obviously, whether you like the characters more or less is really important to encourage you to buy it on day one and in my case it depends even more on what they do in the December patch with KoF... let's hope that GAROU, being less characters, both the balance and Hitbox and Pushbox are well polished from minute 1.

For anyone who has doubts about whether or not it is worth buying, it will be a good time to try it out and evaluate it for ourselves.
