How many characters in deluxe édition?
How many characters in deluxe édition? If i buy this version i have all dlc characters ?

Base game are 39 chars. DX edition: base game (39) + Team Pass 1: 6 chars.
If you want all roster you need to buy the previous + Team Pass 2 and Fighter Pass. Each pass has 6 chars.
By the way there are 2 chars free no matter what you buy or not.

And fyi no game with deluxe edition contains the full roster, it only adds a few ones.

the base game has 39 characters if you buy the deluxe you will get the first season pass. and crossplay for free.

I have all roadster with Deluxe édition + team pass 2 ?

As of now the total number of characters including all DLC and free ones is 56. By the end of this year when season 2 completes, we will have 59 total characters.

As Dante's said the game will have 59 chars by the end of 2023 and PROBABLY 7 more for next year.

Base game HAS crossplay. In fact if you have base game, you get crossplay (of course) along with 2 boss battle challenges (very hard to beat bosses battles) and their playable versions (2 balanced versions of the boss characters), an extra stage and more than 300 musics (You can apply any music to any stage).....ALL FOR FREE.
So as of now, counting the 2 extra characters.....you get 41 characters with the base game, not 39.

i also wanted to buy this game since its on "sale", but you would still need to spend 2x on DLC characters.

if you buy the "THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV Deluxe Edition" you will only get:

THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV Standard Edition
THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV - DLC Team Pass "Team Pass 1"
THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV - DLC Characters "Team GAROU"
KOF XV DLC Characters "Team SOUTH TOWN"

You would still need to purchase:

KOF XV Fighter Pass
KOF XV DLC Character "SYLVIE PAULA PAULA"
KOF XV DLC Character "SHINGO YABUKI"
KOF XV DLC Character "KIM KAPHWAN"
THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV - DLC Team Pass "Team Pass 2"
KOF XV DLC Characters "Team SAMURAI"
KOF XV DLC Characters "Team AWAKENED OROCHI"

Welcome to the deluxe games options. No you don't pay 2x on dlc as everything is -75% with the exception of last pass which is -50%

And yes, like literally every (fighting) game "deluxe" is not a synonym of everything. It just means base game plus something extra.
The game plus EVERYTHING (but FP) is -$75% and the FP is -$50%
Sounds like a bargain to me.

As it says Garou: MotW Terry is just a costume NOT a character.
Leona's classic costume isn't either a character just a costume and it's free it means it costs $00.

if you do the math you will end up paying about 40 usd for the whole game, which was released about 1.5 years ago, by comparison marvel spider man remastered is going for $40.19 and it was released just 11 months ago...

pass for now

No offence but this is literally the worst comparison I have seen on the internet. First you compare a fighting game to a AAA open world game....REALLY?
Then you act as if all the KOF XV content up until now was released 1.5 years ago and not just the base game.
And even after that you forgot that Spiderman Remastered is actually an old game in itself which was released for the first time in 2018 making it more than 3 year old game.
You my friend are literally wrong on every level in this comparison here.

Yes, comparing a fighting game to a open world action game would be dumb, but i'm comparing standard discount pricing many months after release, and i was very clear about it, i could've compared to any other AAA game released in the last 12 months or less that costs now on sale around 40 usd.

marvels spiderman was remastered and ported to PC which is a huge effort, if you think its easy then look at the last of us... and marvels spiderman is packed with content, it includes all previously separately sold dlcs....

does it make any difference really? dlc pack 1 was release more than a year ago (and dlc pack 2 was release about 1 year ago too)

i'm not saying that KOF XV is not a great game, or that it lacks content, just saying this discount is just OK and nothing more than that, maybe next sale or if it comes to GOG when its complete...

When I read his reply I said... Hmmkay I won't lose a single more second with this. Some people expect everything to cost a penny and be the full game cuz... it's DX and already a year old :maxout::lolo:
