Why isn't there an arcade mode.

I just need to play a bit for getting myself ready to go online and there isn't an arcade mode? Just such a weird thing to not add in a fighting game.

...There is? It's just called Story Mode.

As the guy above stated, it's just called Story Mode but is functionally an Arcade mode. There is also several mission modes if I recall, like the boss challenges.
