Combos this game is very dificult.
Several fighting games and the character combos are very difficult compared to other games. I think they should make it easier. A clear example of this is Guilty Gear Strive that learning combos is easy and not extremely difficult. For fans of the franchise who have been playing for a long time they may not have much of a problem but for beginners and average players it is difficult. Those who don't master this can't win the game of those who master the combos.

Even if they low the skill gap for combos. People with poor neutral, will still lose matches. So I dont see point in lowering the skill gap.

My dude, you have barely over 4 hours in the game and you're complaining that the combos are too hard (90% of the time they really aren't). You might be jumping the gun just a little bit.

Hey just play ralf and joe, you dont need to do combos with them :steamhappy:

but the problem with guilty gear is that when you make a game easier any masher can press buttons and win (potemkin) sometimes. in kof combos are hard for that specific reason it takes more of someone to win. different games for different people. i too played guilty gear i like the game a lot but i appreciate that kof still remains somewhat the same formula that it has always been( a little easier i heard). we just need to struggle (what i am doing 'cause i lose a lot) to learn the game.

try to stick with characters that have a better confirms for combos like rock gato robert. avoid yuri leona (leona has good confirms but the window to press buttons is super hard) until you have more experience.

i am rank 7 if you want to practice :happy_yeti: dont give up bruh /o/

If someone still doubts that execution scares off casuals - here's your 1001st proof. It's not the biggest deterrent but it makes a difference. I'm not going to be surprised if SF6 is even more approachable than SFV.

I'm not sure if execution scares casuals (I'm fairly casual myself). If the game is fun at all skill levels and there's enough opponents around the same skill as you, then why would it be a problem? I think it starts to become an issue when you are all the time against players with much better execution. If you play against your level, you don't experience the execution gap and can't get really depressed about it.

I would guess the thing that really scares casuals about kof is having to learn 3 characters to some degree, and the lack of noobies in ranked queue. Though after I've gotten into KOF it's crazy fun even if you're getting beaten up (but not too much :p). But you only see the mountain when you are starting, not what's behind :)

The combo system is actually quite accessible. You can simply do a normal attack followed by a command normal and then a super for pretty much any character. And you also have auto-combos.

false, this is my first KoF game and i can consistently rank in 20-25 and do combos pretty handily. All I see is a skill issue, tbh
git gud

I dont think so, combos are so easily the problem is how to hit the opponent if you don't know how to hopping attack

depends on the character you play. Combo can be iffy at the beginning.
Combos are shorter and much faster and depending on the distance, so you dont whiff.
The only problem i have so far is to combo from DP to special move.
