The mouse movement is horrendous.
Probably the single worst thing this demo has and I've not seen it mentioned yet. There is a strange acceleration and deceleration to mouse movements starting and ending. I noticed it immediately when launching the demo and was hoping it was just a main menu thing.. but no it persists within the game.

It makes quick and precise mouse movements awkward.. remove it or give an option to disable it. It's just an anti-micro feature and it's exacerbated with the lack of unique unit silhouettes.

In addition to this, which I have seen mentioned, camera controls need improving. There also needs to be an option for inverted middle mouse camera movement so that you "drag" the terrain, sensitivity options, etc.

EDIT: No rotating buildings and unfortunately it matters which direction your buildings are facing as your harvester docks on the south east side. If resources are below your refinery you'll have a better economy than a player who has it above. RIP any competitive play.

I have just tried the demo, everything is fine except this imprecise mouse control, which is a shame for a STR...
Go to Options -> Game and uncheck "Software Cursor." That should make the cursor just as responsive in-game as it is on your desktop.

Also don't use Vertical Sync in the Graphics settings. Just use the Frame Limiter instead to keep the game as responsive as possible.

Yeah i noticed this too. It makes your mouse feel very sluggish. The game should use raw input and have no acceleration on it.

I agree. The mouse cursor feels like it's "lagging behind". It doesn't seem precise. Hectic/fast paced movements are more difficult to execute.

The "lagging behind" thing also seems true for units. Whenever I command units to go somewhere, they need a little bit of time to "get ready" and actually move out. When they hit an obstacle or another unit in their path, they also seem to slow down before they keep moving again.

Really hoping they remove that and allow for nothing but pure raw mouse input. Mouse acceleration has never really been good in games on PC and there is a reason why PC game wiki pages give instructions on how to remove it from said games.
