Technically a game
Pretty unclear on what this game is trying to do.
Very much just reminded me of Assembly Line 2, but without any optimization problems to solve.

Everything has the same throughput. So you just... do whatever to meet the next objective?
The bonuses might be a sink for money, if you had to buy them maybe? But then you're back to being a worse Assembly Line 2.

Man the controls are both fiddly and annoying. You seem to have to build the block, clear the pipette with right click, click on the building, then pick out of a list. When everything just is a converter with an input and an output. Why not make it contextual? Unless you have a recipe with overlap in inputs? That is seemingly an assembler problem, and easy enough to make them require fiddling, not everything.

The Belts are just hyper fiddly. Needing to draw from under the source to under the destination really just makes them a source/destination deal. These are just edges between nodes, why bother with a grid map at all?

I'm legitimately interested in an automation game that isn't built around hucking rocks at your head on a timer. This is the most basic shell of a production game. You need to actually add some game to it. Basic logistics puzzling? Some level of account management? Mysterious secret tech tree you unlock by combining things? Really, that is on the developer.

Wasn't really mad while playing, just sort of numb chill and play. Now reflecting on the wasted half hour, and the 20 minutes I spent providing feedback... yeah, I'm mad. I want that time back.

Thanks for playing. Clearly this game isn't for you 😄

Not cool when the dev words their response like that to a person voicing frustrations....which there are so many with the game. :( It has promise, but with that attitude from the developer, I won't be buying. :(

And that is your prerogative as a consumer. The reason I said what I said is that it's very clear from their post that this game is really not for them. They expected something else or something more than it is, which is fair, but the store page doesn't promise more than the game delivers.

To recognize someone not be the target audience is not rude 😊

I made this game for newcomers to the factory builder genre. If you've looked at factory games in the past and thought "looks interesting, but also too complicated for me", THEN this game is for you. With the objective-based approach, you always have a clear goal, you're never really left on your own to figure out what to do next.
