- UI scale needed, 1440p UI is small
- fullscreen setting did not work
- delete keybind did not work (i had to ctrl X everything)
- early economy is too punishing with money upkeep (belts cost too much, i thought furnace had to be placed on coal or need coal and i had no money to do that without deleting my factory start)
- belt systems need a snapping options and if we mouse in a straight line (left to right) but the mouse goes a few pixels down or up then it should still stay left to right for example and not build on the vertical areas, Factorio do this and if you want to make a corner we can press R
- belts next to buildings should output the building inventory, instead of having 1 belt go out for every building we can just make 1 straight line and it will output onto the belt, or make buildings have an "output" side to them and let us rotate that
- dragging belts whist using wasd to move camera stops the belt dragging making it harder to make a straight line belt
- subjective but speed option shouldnt exist, the whole point of automation genre is making something like a factory but keep expanding it, if production somewhere is slow we should then build more production factories/buildings to speed up production, instead of just making the game speed go faster, I found myself bored after 15 ish minutes because i was just speeding the game up to progress tutorial objectives (craft x amount of item) instead of having a self made task to build more buildings to speed up production which was impossible because lack of money

i will also add that pasting something after ctrl x will just place on the cursor instead of having a blueprint ghost system to see where stuff would align

Thank you for the feedback!

1. UI scale - will look into it, but it's not an easy fix. By UI, do you mean every single piece of UI (right down to font size in Codex, etc.), or just things like main menu and options?
2. Will be fixed in the next update.
3. It does work, but you have to select something first, either by dragging a selection or by clicking a single block.
4. I'm inclined to say that's part of the learning experience of any game that includes some sort of economy. But I am considering increasing the starting balance. Also, read the tips in the Codex on managing money, if you haven't already.
5. You can hold shift down while dragging belts.
6. Current output-to-belt mechanics are very likely going to stay as they are.
7. Should be fixed in the next update.
8. Yeah, I've gone back and forth on the speed control many times. I'm not married to it, but early game test feedback suggested it would be a nice option to have, so there it is.

all of UI, mainly couldnt see the bottom left buildings ui, also delete did not work, i had to rebind it to backspace and the 2nd bind option to backslash just to test and none worked, might be an issue with the settings apply button not actually applying because i use a 60% with no delete key.
As for the rest i wish the game told me with ui or videos and not text and i dont like reading tutorials in games, i want to play a game not read a book. games like block shop, mini settlers have small videos that play, explaining game mechanics. Text tips under the objectives would even work, but paragraphs of text thrown onto you page after page.. nobody is remembering that and its overwhelming

Not sure why deleting won't work for you. It's never been an issue for anyone else as far as I know. I know that doesn't help you, but there's little I can do without having physical access to your particular keyboard 😊

As for the text, I completely understand that it is a bit text heavy in the tutorial pages, but if it's any comfort there aren't many of them. And the info they provide is actually important, it isn't filler content. There are a few "movies"/animations, but some things just can't be shown, but must be explained.
You can of course just skip it and try to figure things out yourself, that's certainly a viable option. And if lost, you can go into the Codex and read what you skipped.

If you still think it's too much, that's totally fine. Thanks for trying it and for the feedback!

this is why there's a need for either resolution change or ui adjustment.
my desktop is 4k... (yeah.. i know...) i5 6600 + 970 .. so playing at 4k is probably not the best idea... also.. i sit over 1m away.. i'm weird like that.

So, would you say an option to "double" the UI would work for you? I have looked into it, and a gradual sliding scale for UI isn't going to work, as fractionals (anything else than whole numbers) will make things.. ugly. But scaling at 2x or even 3x will keep the crispiness, just way, way bigger. Let me know what you think.
personally would prefer to be able to set a resolution of 1080p fullscreen window. but i know my use case is a bit on the weird side.

it's a mixture of performance and size of text... i mean, i'm assuming setting it to 1080p would perform better than 4k on that old lump of coal.. and immediately gives bigger text anyway..

on the bright side.. at least fullscreen is now working :)
Why not stretching the window with all of his font/ui? Extending make everything to small in 4k. Like Kairosoft. Or a "zoom in with bigger window"-function

There will be a UI scale option in the next update.
