wedge cats questions

i know this is strange to ask but ever since there's a scene where wedge trying to save his cats and all he only got one cat and what happen to two of them? did they survive or some sort i just need to make sure about this

I assumed and its my head canon cats did survive. Wedge was holding all 3, if any of them died we would certanly find a dead cat somewhere nearby. They are probably off doing what cats do best - roam somewhere on their own.
