Short Games

Why is the game so short? Like, I understand it being $10 but people finish within the first 30min of playing. Even buying the DLC doesn't change much, since its the same concept and length.

This just answered a purchase question I had.
I played this on someone's tablet during a flight recently. We had a few games over the course of a couple of hours. Nostalgic fun. But very short.
We played a couple of different maps, yet both seemed the same.

I have read a few posts here looking for an answer regarding the length of the DLC boards, and if any of them increase the game spaces.
Or if there is any other option to lengthen the current game.

Alas it seems the only differences the DLC adds are job descriptions and graphics.
