Report a translation problem
You get those new plants to start growing via mutation. i.e. You plant two Baker's Wheats near each other and when they are mature they can cross and make new plants grow in empty plots next to them.
Crossing two Baker's Wheat can result in Thumbcorn, Bakeberry, or more Baker's Wheat (which you already have). So you'd need to then harvest the mature Thumbcorn and Bakeberry to unlock their seeds.
They don't? Because it does say so in the description that they will drop on maturity (at least, I'm pretty sure that's what I read). That's why it got me confused.
