And that's not including all the excess loot I can sell off.
Yes sill in chapter one. I just finished Lake Bordu fight and needed to kill the target relatively quicky because even with 2 clerics and 3 knights with healing spell, i can't sustain the whole party and was forced to go kill Grion when one of my cleric went sleeping for 3 turns...
My characters were 1 level above ennemies...
The aftermath of said fight :
Loot = +3.5K Goth
Madatory consumables and gear upgrades = -8K Goth...
On average i loose 1.5K Goth per fight...
You need to sell the gear you looted.
Yes that was included in the +3.5K Goth obtained... And my average money loss also includes unused gear sells...
Here's the answer to your problems.
As I said, do Pharompa Wildwood. It unlocks at some point in Chapter 2, but you gotta read the Warren Reports to open it.
Just from running a single map from the dungeon, you get 30 bronze coins. But near the end, you start getting 15 Silver and 10 Gold.
If you clear out every map, you should come away with 100k Goth worth of coins all together. Plus whatever excess loot you plan to sell off.
Also, upgrade everybody's gear to +1's once you get access to the Crafting mechanic. It really seems to help out a lot.
My point is :
Getting to chapter two without running out of funds when you have a net money loss every battle in CHAPTER 1...
Well i'll see what happens... From what i've gathered, i'm almost at chapter 2... Last battles wwill be tough without re-supplying consumables...
I politely disagree. As somebody who's made it through the game up to Chapter 3 so far, while barely using any items at all (save for the revival stones), I can confidently say that not having enough money to restock your supplies isn't really the problem.
Training sessions are free to do, and your characters don't permanently die from them. So there's no reason to bring along any items when you try to run them.
If you're still in Chapter 1, then the level cap of what you can reach should usually be higher than the enemies you'll be running into on story mode. With them only reaching equal footing with you right before the cap increases once again.
Just auto run a bunch of training sessions to keep yourself at the cap, and you should be over leveled for most of the Chapter 1 fights.
