The class system is a bit underwhelming. But the only thing I truly hate are guest characters. I am currently attacking the pirates and have a wizard and knight to keep alive cause for some reason they dont teleport away and dont get to revive. The wizard walks right in the middle of where everyone is fighting and gets killed. I rewind find a way to keep him alive. He has like 75 hp. The sister heals a person with over half hp instead of healing the wizard and he dies. There is no place for me to back up a...

Just wondering. I'm at Ch 4, Lv40 cap and 3/4 of the way through POTD. Still first run. My Denam is Terror Knight and I've been using Claymore+1 with Fearful Impact for reliably sticking Breach on tough targets. It's been so useful that I haven't upgraded his 2H sword in a long time. I have not upgraded to Damascus or Damascus+1 2H swords even though a few are in storage. I have even farmed a few Durandals recently in POTD, and these have much better raw stats. Yet I'm reluctant to let go of Claymor...

It's the biggest thing keeping from playing it more right now. I don't care if you like it as is, I want the option because I don't play singleplayer games that don't respect my time. I would return this game if I could because it's a waste of money by default for this exact reason....

Is it bad?

Since characters no longer keep the skills they gained from previous classes, and I am not seeing a really notable gap in stat-gains in any category despite whichever class the unit is when thy level, it seems to me as though the only metric that actually matters anymore is HPs. Hiring/recruiting a wizard/etc at like level 19, they often have 600 hps, whereas a fighter-type will have 720-800ish.
